By installing or using the X Remark Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the Service

X Remark is a personal productivity tool designed to help you add private notes and tags to profiles on X (Twitter). You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

2. User Data

Notes and tags you create are stored locally on your device by default. If you choose to sign in with X to enable cloud sync, your data is transmitted to and stored on our servers. You own all content you create. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Accounts

Cloud sync requires you to authenticate via X (OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your X account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

4. Purchases

Paid plans are available as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. All billing inquiries and payment disputes should be directed to Paddle. Our Refund Policy applies to all purchases.

5. Intellectual Property

The X Remark extension, its design, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
